About Noa's Ark Hostel.

Noa's Ark Hostel is located on a houseboat with central heating, hot/cold running water and view on broad and active canal, offers one large private studio-room "the ELEPHANT ROOM" with one XL bed for 2p. and a bed-couch for 1p. (max. 3 guests).
A second small room with a large double bed, "the NEST ROOM", can be booked directly at the houseboat for 2 extra guests booking "the ELEPHANT ROOM". (max. 4 guests).
For this you must first book the Elephant room and contact the houseboat for booking the Nest room also. Thus 4 + guests can share the 2 rooms which are adjacent one to the other.
"The Elephant room" has 2 large windows, a king size bed and table, a narrow terrace on the canal side with a rowingboat parked in front of it. (To enjoy in the summer).
The room faces the afternoon sun and 8 beautiful grand trees. It is comfortable, attractive, spacey, family-, gay- and smoker friendly and located at 10 min. walking distance from the Central Station. Also it is very close to "the Jordaan" district and the street markets there. It is equipped with radio/Cd, Wifi and fridge. With its own private entrance, it is situated at the far end of the houseboat with shared bathroom/shower just down the hall next to the inn keeper's living quarters. Tea and coffee-making facilities are available in the room. You can book this room as a : PRIVATE TRIPLE FOR € 40.- pppn or as PRIVATE DOUBLE FOR € 50.- pppn. (When booking, you must check-mark which of these 2 possibilities you are opting for: A 2 pers.room or a 3 person room). Prices are excl. 5% dutch tourist tax. Minimum stay is of 3 nights. When 2 adults wish 2 separate beds, please inform the innkeeper upfront. Child under the age of 12 : € 25.- Key deposit is € 50.-. Deposit will be returned when roomand bathroom are left tidy and no damage has occurred; It will not be returned in such a case as a last minute booking cancellation. Tea and coffee are available and soaps and towels are provided also. Check-in is after 4 pm. You can deposit bags if arriving early. Please then mail in to make sure inn keeper is home. Check-out is 11am. (for € 5.- you can park you bags at the houseboat for the afternoon; if needs be and if inn keeper available). Houseboat Ark Noa is close-by breakfast shops on the Haarlemmerstraat/Dijk. (Barney's Coffee Cie, p.ex. opens at 8 am.) The supermarket is 5 minutes away (open daily, Sundays included from 8 am to 10 pm); the houseboat is also close to the Monday and Saturday street-markets of the Jordaan. Ark Noa offers its guests a safe, peaceful and refreshing place to relax in. So welcome to your floating room on the waters and to a good night's sleep! Contact me to reserve the smaller "Nest room" when 4 guests want to occupy the "Elephant room". Book the "Elephant room" for 2 guests and email Ark Noa for these extra 2 guests. (€ 80.- p/night) for 2 and € 60.- for one guest. A small room with large double, with view on the canal. Shared bathroom/shower provided with towls. 1 or 2 nights minimum. Deposit: € 25.- Dogs are not directly accepted as there are 2 cats living on board. Special requests can be made. North-West of the houseboat there is a secured car park at € 1.- p.h. (24 hours for € 15.-). It is a 20 min. walk back to the houseboat. Info will be sent on request.
